Our Beginning

It began with the realization that there was a strong demand for trikes throughout the country. Yet there were very few trike kits available on the market. And fewer still that offered the rider great performance, combined with eye-catching appeal! In the spring of 2005, Danny Johnson of Elkhorn, Kentucky set out to change all that. Danny has owned and operated an auto body shop for years, where he continuously came up with innovative ideas, some of which were implemented by Ford Motor Company. When he entered the trike conversion industry a few years ago, he brought with him over 40 years experience in metal fabrication and fiberglass molding. Not to mention an aesthetic eye that took decades to develop. These life-long skills lead to distinct creativity and quality, reflected in the Danson Trike.
